Local authorities expect death toll to rise.
Local law enforcement officers have increased the official number of injured to over 400, as area hospitals continue to treat victims.
50 people are confirmed to have lost their lives after a lone gunman opened fire from the Mandalay Bay hotel. Stephen Paddock shot indiscriminately from the 32nd floor of the hotel, hitting concert goers.
The victims were attending a country music festival in Las Vegas.
According to police, who confirmed that the gunman took his own life as the police raided the hotel room, an arsenal of automatic weapons were found.
