DPRK says US has declared war; shows propaganda videos.
Tensions increased further in the war of words between North Korea and the United States, with the reclusive state showing a propaganda film on its television channel, and threatening to shoot down US bombers flying close to its territory.
A 90 second propaganda video showed computer animations of North Korean missiles sinking the US aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson and shooting down UA Air Force aircraft.
Meanwhile as he was leaving New York, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho gave a brief statement. He said; "The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country.
"Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to make counter-measures, including the right to shoot down United States strategic bombers even when they are not inside the airspace border of our country."
His comments came after President Trump took to twitter with his usual taunts of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, tweeting; "Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at U.N. If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man, they won't be around much longer!"

At the Pentagon, spokesperson Col Robert Manning responded by saying; "If North Korea does not stop their provocative actions, you know, we will make sure that we provide options to the president to deal with North Korea."
The White House responded Monday afternoon by saying that it has not declared war on North Korea, adding that the suggestion it had is 'absurd'.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
