Former Fox Employee Kills Himself Outisde Fox HQ

A former employee of Fox affiliate KTBC in Austin, Texas has shot and killed himself outside Fox News' headquarters in New York City.

The former employee, identified by the Wall Street Journal as Phillip Perea of Irving, Texas, was reported to have been handing out fliers to passers' by explaining how Fox has ruined his career, in the moments leading up to him taking his own life.

Perea was treated at the Bellevue Hospital Center before being pronounced dead around an hour after.

A suicide note was recovered at the scene along with the gun he used. Perea had published a series of videos to YouTube documenting what he described as bullying at Fox. His series was called "The American Workplace Bully: How FOX News Ended My Career".
