Tuesday night’s Chicago Cubs game on WGN-TV, a thrilling 9th inning comeback win versus the Pittsburgh Pirates, delivered a 5.4 Household (HH) rating, peaking at an 8.6 HH rating; the highest Cubs HH rating on WGN-TV in nearly four years.

Despite going head-to-head with the first period of the Blackhawks playoff game against the Nashville Predators, the Cubs game also achieved its highest rating among adults aged 25 to 54 since May 2010.

Approximately 187,400 households and 231,900 viewers tuned in during prime time to see the major league debut of Cubs prospect Addison Russell, along with other rising Cubs stars like Kris Bryant, Jorge Soler and Anthony Rizzo.
