David Fisher, Vice-President and General Manager, CTV Saskatchewan has announced that Danielle Mario has been appointed Director of News and Public Affairs for CTV Saskatoon.
A graduate with Distinction in Journalism from the University of Regina, Mario brings both community and international experience to her new role having told stories for Thomson Reuters, CBC, and the Saskatoon Star Phoenix. Most recently she served as Anchor/Reporter for CBC Saskatchewan.
“CTV Saskatoon has a thriving, award-winning newsroom, and I’m honoured to be joining a team of such energetic professionals,” said Mario. “CTV is more than just a broadcaster, it’s a community member and a trusted name in journalism. I’m excited to see what we can do together.”

Mario will assume her duties effective March 16, 2015.
